Since its inception over 90 years ago, the Junior League of Lincoln has contributed over $2,000,000 and over 375,000 volunteer hours to the Lincoln community. The JLL has wholly funded a number of projects, and has also collaborated with a number of social service agencies and other non-profit groups to see projects through to successful completion.
All JLL projects are funded through membership dues and funds raised through DISH, our annual chef auction. The Junior League of Lincoln (JLL or The League) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
There are two Junior Leagues in Nebraska: Lincoln, and Omaha. Over 1,000 women in Nebraska continue a rich history of volunteer service to their metropolitan communities, and a strong commitment to developing leadership and volunteer skills among its members.
The JLL is a non-profit organization. The JLL has 501(c)(3) status under Federal and States tax code and is a tax-exempt entity.
